'Holy Ghost' arrives in Mexico to find some gold in a mine. He gets involved in a revolution when General Ubarte has taken over the country. He needs the revolutionaries to find the gold and helps them out. Along for the ride he gets an old friend 'Chicken'.

A strange mixture of a Spaghetti Western. It's basically a comedy but has a very high kill count and some harsh scenes like a pile of dead revolutionaries. Cris Huertas character is a kind of slapstick comedy sidekick in the style of Bud Spencer, with unhuman strength. Gianni Garko is of course great as always and mowes down a serious amount of soldiers with an array of different weapons. His got this special kind of machinegun (picture above), but sadly only pulls it out a couple of times. Pilar Velแzquez stands for the female beauty and we can also spot the normal Carnimeo SW actor crew.

This movie should not be taken too seriously, it has a pigeon who believes she's an eagle, chickens who eat dynamite and lay explosive eggs, whores with bazookas, ugly hairy men dressed up as whores...

Maybe a bit poor on the comedy and specially Cris Huertas chartacter but otherwise great stuff. This one would need to get a proper DVD release.

Some dialogue:

Holy Ghost: "-What's the matter with you? Haven't you ever seen a hero with a pigeon?"

Asking his men: "-Anybody killed or hurt?" Holy Ghost: "-Yep, all of you." (Guns them down)

General Ubarte: "-Unfortunately we don't have enough trees here to hang everyone."
